Yashamaru revealed that physical pain could be healed, but the pain of the heart required love. Gaara believed he received love from his mother's spirit and Yashamaru.

However, when he tried to show love to the villagers, they responded with fear and hate. In a tragic twist, Gaara starts to discover that the Anbu who attacked him was Yashamaru, shattering his belief in the love he thought he had.

Gaara's Abilities

From infancy, Gaara, trained as Suna's ultimate weapon, displayed extraordinary strength. Even as a child, he effortlessly dispatched numerous assassins sent after him. As a genin, he gained international recognition for completing challenging B-rank missions and set a record by flawlessly navigating the perilous Forest of Death during the Chunin Exams. This feat, typically reserved for chūnin, showcased his exceptional abilities.

In Part II, Gaara ascended to the position of Suna's Fifth Kazekage, entrusted with the leadership and protection of the entire village. Despite initial skepticism from fellow Kage due to his youth, Gaara earned their respect, particularly during the Fourth Shinobi World War, Gaara shows the ability to make a sand clone that looks exactly like the Third Tsuchikage rather than himself. He was appointed the commander-in-chief of the Allied Shinobi Forces' combat divisions, demonstrating his strategic prowess.

Gaara's combat skills were formidable, evident in his ability to hold his ground against powerful opponents, including Madara Uchiha's Susanoo-clad wood clones. Even in adulthood, Gaara's strength reached new heights, allowing him to face members of the formidable Ōtsutsuki Clan like Momoshiki and Urashiki.
